Section 2: Find and retrieve information from various text types such as news reports, blurbs, dictionaries, and so on. Acquire a broad understanding of, and search for, specific information in longer texts such as editorials, essays, and so on.

Section 3: Understanding of situational variations in functions such as requesting, providing information, expressing surprise, pronouncing, and so on.
